A zine is a fanmade magazine filled with artwork and/or writing regarding a particular subject or theme. It typically comes with related merchandise, which may be digital and/or physical.✦ Is this Zine SFW?
The main zine will be SFW. The optional NSFW add-on will be available for purchase for 18+ individuals.✦ What is a "durbar?"
Durbar is a Persian-derived term (from Persian: دربار - darbār) meaning the kings’ or rulers’ noble court or a formal meeting where the king held all discussions regarding the state. We thought it was a fitting and authentic theme for this zine, considering our featured characters and their lore.✦ How old do contributors need to be to apply?
All contributors who apply for the zine need to be 18 by the time results are sent out (4/10/23).✦ Are AUs allowed?
This zine will be all about our Sumeru boys, so any AUs involving them will be allowed!✦ Which characters will be include in this zine?
Al-Haitham, Kaveh, Cyno, Tighnari, Scaramouche, Dottore, and Aether (Male Traveler). Additional characters will be allowed so long as 1-2 of the featured characters are the focus of the piece.✦ What exactly is included in “MLM”? Is trans rep allowed?
Absolutely! “MLM” includes all masc x masc pairing between our zine’s 7 featured characters. Of course, all mlm-inclusive sexualities and trans masc identities are included!✦ Since this is a for-profit zine, how will contributors be compensated?
We will provide all contributors with a digital copy of the zine. Depending on sales, a tiered compensation model will be followed with the primary intent being to get all contributors as close to a full bundle as possible. Any further compensation after that will be divided equally among the contributors and moderators at a 70:30 ratio.✦ Will this Zine accept traditional art?
Yes! This zine will accept traditional artwork, assuming that the art is able to be scanned in high quality at 300 dpi.✦ What is spot art?
Spot art is typically a small drawing or border that is created to accompany a written work, either at the beginning, the end, or within the story. If artists and writers are open to spot art, Zine Mods will help facilitate artist-author groups!✦ How old do contributors need to be to apply?

Feel free to apply to multiple roles, but please keep in mind that you can only be accepted to one.✦ Will follower count be considered during application grading?
Nope, all applicants will solely be accepted on the basis of their samples, portfolio, and pitches.✦ Are you inviting guests?
Yes, we will be inviting some amazing artists and writers to this project! Stay tuned~✦ When can I share my work on social media?
Acceptance to the zine indicates agreement by contributors to wait for the full shipping period to be completed before their work is shared. A Discord announcement will be made regarding this.

DISCLAIMER:
This zine takes aesthetic inspiration from the Mughal Empire in South Asia (i.e. a Persian Invading Empire) and has taken art pieces and concepts from that period of time. The Mughal Empire brought Islamic ideas and culture into South Asia that irrevocably changed the trajectory of the subcontinent. It is both a romanticized and historic era, but this zine has no relation to Islamic principles nor does it endorse any religion that exists outside the game Genshin Impact.
